Default Low Profile 20 foot ladder stand

Anyone know of a quality 20' ladder that is low profile(hugs the tree) and has a comfortable seat and shooting rail. I have looked at the Summit and Strongbuilt models but wondering if anyone out there makes something a little more stealth like. BTW the trees I have to work with are not doable with a climber.

OEH, when my brother in-law was alive and had the welding shop, he use to custom make ladder stands for hunters. A good welding shop can make you any tree stand you want. Have them make it of AircraftTempered Aluminum square tubing. You can etch it with 50/50 Water and Muratic Acid. Then you can buy a camo paint kit and paint it. This is what I did to the 2old style Tree Lounge's I bought in 1995. The paint is still on!

Sounds like you can just get a climbing stick, ladder style one that uses straps to attach to the tree and then use a nice hangon. It would weigh a lot less too. I have 15' ladder stands that I place out and they weigh a lot. FWIW I have never had a deer bust me in these. I use zip strips and attach some branches to the ladder rails to help camo them. I also write on all my ladder sections and the stand itself " SMILE FOR MY TRAIL CAMERA" and my name on each section in BIGLETTERS. I then snake a 15' cable 3/8'' thick through each section and padlock at the top. I have had friends have sections stolen. We think guys steal the sections so that they can make their ladder taller.Knock on wood I have never had one stolen, but I also hunt private ground.

My club uses 15 ft. strong built. All the guys were sceptical but then were amazed that deer didn't see them at that low of a height.

YOu must be a mindreader..That is exactly what I was thinking of . Now If I can find a truly comfortable hangon that will let me take a snooze without falling out I will be really happy
