My wife is on me all year round as a new season is always on the horizon.

She realizes that there has to be comprimises though, as do I. I spend much more time shopping with her in the fall for I can have a day in the woods.

I take my 9 day gun deer hunt in November, she is going with friends to Florida for the same nine days. We've gone on seperate trips with friends since high school, always worked out well! She gets some venison steaks, I get a hot wife with a tan!

my wife better understand what she is getting into beause if she doesnt then it will be a short marriage, and i will end up a bachelor the rest of my life

I have alreadly lost a girlfriend this year. She couldn't even make it through the archery season. She turned it around on me and made it sound like I would rather hunt than spend time with her. This couldn't be further from the truth. But hunting is my passion and when someone tries to make me choose, it only pushes me deeper into the woods. To her, hunting is something done a couple of times a year and she cannot understand the four or five times a week that I hunt. I am at a loss for words, and have almost resigned to the fact that life is better from October to January without a girlfriend.

Yes... Luckly I have a girl that can entertain herself without me... and she knows that Sept. - Jan. I am in the woods a few times a week, but lucky for her it gets dark at 5:30 now, so I am home shortly after... and all goes well... Good luck to those having a hard time... Just tell her to find something to do... Get a Hobby...
