They can get quite tame when they realize you mean no harm. Put up a feeder for them.

RE: Wow, this was different.

I just read the entire thread.

I read about the guy in the black pajamas, with his salvation army knife, poaching that buck. He sounds like a real loser.

Sounds like he doesn't have much experience in the skinning department, by hacking up that buck. Since he doesn't know how to skin a deer, he probably hasn't taken very many.

His equipment isn't very good either. Black PJ's instead of camo and his Salvation army knife complete with the can opener and cork screw.

Hunting with his poodle to boot.

They ought to put your picture on the cover of Bowhunting Magazine, standing there with your poodle, black PJ's, holding the hacked up cape of the deer you skun with you salvation army knife.

Everyone walking by the news stand would look at that magazine and say " What a Loser"

That would be fine, except, I'm not from Canada.

Been to Canada but live here in the Good Ole USA.

No matter where I'm from, you're still a loser.

Got any pictures of the hacked up buck? Or did you make up the whole story.

That wasn't moonshine you were drinking, that was my urine bottle you found. Must have fell off my belt loop and you found it.

I don't know why, but your mom always wants me to save it in a bottle. She has a fit if I don't.

I'm not sure what she does with all that urine.I figure she either washes your clothes or her hair with it.

Don't tell her you drank it for moonshine. She'll pester me even more to keep saving it for her.

Although its neat to see, I think it sorta sad that there are so many humans around that deer don' see them as a threat anymore and just do as they please around them. In my yard they will walk through, see me and not do a dang thing but mind their own becaues they know I won't do anything.

Wow, I just read this whole post and I couldn't help laughing over this.
It is sad that some dude in a black gorilla suit was out running around drunk with a poodle wrapped under his arm and a gun in his other arm.
Making the deer go crazy wondering what the heck is going on they walk up to him and check this crazy dude out. So this dude in the gorilla suit with his poodle waits for the deer to get closer so he couldn't possibly miss it when he shoots it. Then carves it head off and dresses it out to stuff his poodle in it ?? and says he had to shoot it cause it had a furball ?
Man this guys crazy give him another jug of moon shine and let him run around in the deep woods with his black gorilla suit on. Just ask him to leave the gun and his poodle home while he does this.Anyways thanks for the comedy act.

And I have to agree with Windwalker that Special Olympics poster is very uncool !
