A dead guy in a suitcase, that was pitched off the side off the road. Happened about 4 years ago. After all the nonsense with the authorities, I wished I had never opened it. I don't think they ever ID the guy either. (latino, probably an illegal immigrant) Man, what a sight!

I found an old Pontiac in a small bush "island" beween two feilds. It is the one with the big indian head sweeping down the hood. Still with the crome on ittoo!

Me and my buddy were hunting, scouting, stalking one time and we came upon this old house. So we go inside and everything was sitting around like the people had just walked out......it was spooky........kinda freaky. Turns out they had just walked out, went to town for lunch and we were arrested for breaking and entering ! Ha ! damn fool.

I was in the woods on our private property and found somebody's tree stand. And yes i repoed it because no one has permission on this land but me and the family....

Two things come to mind. I found a Suzuki Samurai wedged in between two trees. Later found out it belonged to Afghan people smugglers, illegals coming across the Canadian line on old logging roads.
And another time I found a HUGE bush of marijuana out in the middle of nowhere.

My cousin was out spring turkey hunting and also found a dead guy. Although this guy wasn't in a suitcase but rather leaning against a tree with the top of his head blown clean off. Turns out he killed himself and thought a high powered rifle under the chin would take the cake. My cousin said he was pretty rotten as his hip bones were starting to rot through his jeans andthe top of hishead was blown offfrom the bottom of the eye sockets up. We got back to camp and my cousin had left us a note that said (roughly) "Was out hunting and found a dead guy. I had to take the cops so I'll be back in awhile, the beer's in the fridge".

the ones about the dead guys are the two best....especially the suitcase one.that is extremely crazy....almost hard to beleive. I have never seen a dead body, (eccept for a funeral or two) but i bet it is spooky. The guys head was gone? too wild. those are some great stories.

well, not the entire head of course but most of the top portion from the eyes up. He said it was more like a bowl at that point.

20 something years ago, I was gun hunting for deer in northern Wis. and I was taking a shortcut across some land I didn't have permission to be on. I was trying to avoid going through the middle of a large tag alder swamp. At the half way point of my "shortcut", I came across a dead cow, complete with bell around the neck and a fresh gun shot wound on its side. I peeled back into the swamp as fast as I could and never went back. I couldn't believe that someone could do something like that and I certainly didn't want to take the blame for it.[:-]

I'll give a little more detail of the "suitcase" story. My cousin knocks on my door the evening before shotgun opener and says " I found a suitcase just over the bank of the road and somethings not right!" I said "well did you open it?" "No, I tried to drag it up to the road, but something ain't right." So we ride over there and by now it's dark. We park, walk down the road with flashlights, jump down the bank to the suitcase. I tried to move it, but it was too heavy. I find the zipper and open it up. The first thing I see is black hair (the top off his head). I open it up a little more and see his FACE! I said " IT'S A DEAD GUY!!" My cousin nearly faints and says "HOLY $hit, I knew something wasn't right". Seeing a dead guys face by flashlight is quite a experience. The guy was stuffed in there with his knees up to his chest. He had on a shirt and pants, no shoes. It was about 20 degrees out. He had only been there less than 24 hrs. because he wasn't an ice cube yet. Anyway after that it was all down hill. The authorities kept us there for hours answering questions. About a year later he was still unidentified, but cause of death was heroine and alcohol. Partying a little too hard I guess, and his buddies didn't want him around after he croked.

found my favorite camoflauged butt pad, deer call. grandpa found a dead guy once too. also, some of the best places as far as scenery goes to relieve myself in.

I found a chain saw and I keep finding deflated balloons, you know those shiney helium balloons, they are all over the woods for some reason.
I also find quite qa few arrows from time to time.
No dead people to date!!!

were very well looked after...;)
That was until well..I found them....:D

I was huntingdeep in the wilds of Pennslyvania a few tears ago. Rough territory for even the most well seasoned outdoorsman.

I wastrying to put my best stalk ona buck that would easilytop the current state record when I hear what sounds like a giant deer grunt in a seperate direction. So I figure -BIGGER deer and change my direction. Soon I hear another tremendous, rumbling "grunt". It seemed almost prehistoric, rumbling the ground under my feet. I stalked closer and closer to the sound, tremblingwith anxiety.

Soon I come across an empty peanut butter jar and think, "Strange, a empty peanut butter jar so deep in thewoods." Then as I stalk, I find another empty peanut butter jar, then another and another. Iam suddenly startled by the grunting sound, deafening, and right behind me. I am scared to turn too quickly. And scared as to what I might see when I turn, butI have to turn.

Ifigure I'm probobly busted anyway so I turn quickly, shouldering my weapon........

"Hello there!", he says as hepulls another tomato from his sack andsmears it thickly with more peanut butter, belching and farting loudly.

There sits an unclothed older gentleman, shotgun across his naked thighs, just grinning. I had found Cardeer!

"Want a peanut mato?"

I find golf balls….. Everywhere I go. I guess I got an eye for them but I don’t play golf.

I don't know what kind of rifle it was. I asked my cousin the same question but he said he wasn't getting up close and personal with the guy after he found him. The police of course took it and also found $5,000.00 in the guys pocket. He apparently emptied his bank account before going to kill himself. I still can't imagine finding something like that in Juniata county Pa. But I guess when your not seeing any turkeys it makes for an interesting morning.:D:D

Im not trying to sound *****ish or whatever, but I have found happiness and extreme curiosity. When I hunt I find new unanswered questions and real meanings of little things in life. I think more than I hunt, and I dream more than I think.

lol you found some pot plants? thats wild lol. was it on public or private land? did you guys ever find out whose they were...i guess it would be hard to charge a person if they are outside, but either way, thats crazy. How did you walk into them? just wandered? lol. crazy things ill tell ya

I cannot imagine finding a dead person in the woods, I would crap myself big time. A friend of mine and his family were boating on the Ohio River and had a dead guy float past. I have never found anything, well where I turkey hunt there are cars and boats and old tractors in the woods.
