The way I look at it is this,,You sent him the wrong rings and wanted to charge him for shipping and restocking fee...It was yyour companies fault that they was removed from the package and been tried to put to their intended use...If they was the correct ones you wouldn't of had them returned....Why get charged for something that doesnt fit when a specific item that been order to fit actually doesn't....People work hard for their money and expect to get what they purchase...........................With an attitude about suggesting torefuse and to send them back will keep me from shopping there.......
Doug,
Come on man, at least present all the facts if you are going to attempt to damage our excellent hard earned reputation.
Mr. Green purchased the Burris rings 11/14/05 we shipped and he rec’d them 11/16/05.
He calls 03/21/06 asking to return them. We have a 30 day return period, this was 120 days. But to keep a customer happy we went ahead and agreed to accept them back for a refund.
We get them back with NO packaging and rusted and damaged from being installed with what appears to be the wrong size screw driver because the head of the slot screw is messed up. Still trying to make him happy we agreed to just charge him a 15% restocking fee (which just allows us to sell them at 15% over cost to get rid of them).
This was not good enough for him and he started the threats, about how he is going to tell everyone in the world how bad we are…..etc, etc.
We should have just refused the return or sent them back after we rec’d them with no package, damaged and four months after he bought them.
Thanks Mr. Green for starting this thread as it only helps solidify how good our customer service really is.

PS: The people that read these threads are intellegent and able to form their own opinions based on their own experiences. People are tired of people like you that think they can damage a companies reputation if the company does not do exactely what you demand, by running to the Internet. If anything it just helps us. We don't normally get traffic from this site but we are right now, our referrals by url from HuntingNet.com are up there with Google today!!!
Like we told you on the phone after you started threatening us, "Go ahead and post on the Internet, just tell the truth please".
Have a nice day,

Johnny I don't think the problem was with returning an item, it was the condition of the item andwithin lenient time frame. All companies have return conditions. They have to move returns at some price to keep from losing money and rusted rings with bad screw heads would not be an item that would resale very easily. Try your response to the SWFA forum site. I doubt it is common for Chris to normaly read this site.

I can see where the 4 months would come into play.........especially if the rings had rust on them. The packaging is irrelevent. I guess truth be told this is a combination of errors on both sides..

If the rings had rust, he would have posted a picture on day 1 and TRASHED ME. We wouldn't be here arguing this a week later.
Let the thread die and everyone can decide for themselves whether service there is lacking or not. We've all had enough. I DID just now confirm I got credited for the amount they did say they credited me, so let's all move on...
