[align=center]James "Jimmy" Cason of Williston claimed the #1 typical buck killed in Florida during the 2004-05 hunting season with this beautiful 12-point taken with a .30/06 on Nov. 26, 2004 while hunting on private, family-owned property in Marion County. The trophy buck had a 20-6/8-inch inside spread, gross scored 163-1/8 inches and netted 151-5/8 after deductions.[/align]

[align=center]Jay Leonard of Crawfordville placed second in the Buck-Of-The-Year contest with an amazing 10-point killed in Suwannee Ridge Wildlife and Environmental Area in Hamilton County on Oct. 30, 2004. Leonard killed three great 10-points in one week, including the state's second-highest scoring typical, which grossed 147-7/8 inches and netted 145-1/8, making it the highest-scoring buck ever killed on a mobility impaired hunt in Florida. Leonard's buck had only two inches in deductions and sported a 18-1/8 inch inside spread.[/align]

[align=center]Scott Chaires of Tallahassee tied for third with a great 13-point killed in Jefferson County on Dec. 26, 2004. The trophy rack gross scored 152-5/8 inches and netted a 144-6/8 after deductions for minor differences and three abnormal points. The massive rack featured 23-inch main beams, towering 11-inch second points and an inside spread of 15-5/8 inches.[/align]

[align=center]Jack Hittinger of Tallahassee took an impressive wide-racked 10-point on Dec. 11, 2004 in Leon County that earned him a tie for the #3 typical killed in 2004-05. The huge rack featured a whopping outside spread of 22-5/8 inches and an inside spread of 20-6/8 inches with a 14-5/8 inch tip-to-tip spread. The monster buck grossed 147-4/8 inches and netted 144-6/8 after deductions.[/align][/align]
