Not to over hunt a particular "honey hole" stand of mine. Some magnetic force pulls me over to that dang thing when I get out of my truck.
Like Greg H. said hunt and kill one of the mature bucks I've scouted all preseason.

I have been hunting with my 3 sons since they were old enough to walk (almost). They are now in their 30's....I now include 2 grandsons as well and we all would rather hunt than anything else.
To continue to do that, to enjoy the anticipation, comrauderie, the time spent sighting-in, scouting etc, is what it's all about.
Our goals will continue to be the same. Enjoy the time together, hunt hard and have fun! Just thinking of that puts a smile on my face...
When we're all deer hunting...Life Is Good.

I'd love to just draw on a buck with my bow and to harvest a doe or buck with my smokepole. This past season was my 4th season hunting black powder and have still not taken a shot.
