We depending on how the early season looks and depending on the doe to buck ratio, we have decided to go with an all antlerless/doe harvest only. This only taking effect if the number of does is close to what we had this previous year. In one sitting it was not unusuall to see more than 70 does a day and only a few bucks. If this year is like it was last year, we will let only a couple chosen friends to hunt our property to lower the amount of does on our 300 acres. If one wants to harvest a buck it has to be 130 class or higher and the buckmust be mounted.

My goals are to shoot as many does in archery as I can, save maybe a tag or 2 to take one with a handgun as well. And to shoot a decent mature buck.

To be serious I think the good Doctors goal for 2006would to be able to travel to Canada and hunt a big buck,hopefully something larger then I already have .... as for here at home my goal will be to get to spend a lot of time in the woods and maybe taking a larger buck then I got in Tennessee in 05 ....

My gole this year is not to shoot every deer I see! I don't know why I gety like this. I see a deer and if possiable I shoot it. No matter what size big or small. (All deer are legal here) I have taken some big deer in the past but I think if I let some go I will see some bighe deer. I shot 10 deer this year I kept only one and donated the rest, so I don't need that many. So I'm going to try no promises though. Mike
