You are absolutely, positively, 100% correct...I would not have talked him down from $500. Not after I discovered he had multiple strokes, heis going blind, he is a fellow hunter,and he is offering me a gunand a scopethatis waaaay below market price.

I guess you dont understand, this guy has lots of money. And told me later that he would sell it to me for $400. He hardly ever uses his guns, and likes me enough to sell it to me for cheap because he knows it will go to good use.
