do you guys use anything other than the cables on ur climber to secure it to the tree when u get up there or are the cables good enough?

i dont use one, but i've sat in one and it seemed the cables worked just fine.

the bottom platform yes, but the top part i use a cam-buckle strap that came with my climber, it prolly isnt needed but it keeps it from moving

mainly use what comes with the climber,and always try to climb a pine or soft wood tree,

Be careful when climbing a wet tree ...the old Loggy Bayou would slip a good bit on certaim types of trees ... scarry !
