That is really sad.
It is good to see that so many of us hunters actually do have a heart and are true sportsmen. It shows in the comments and total discust in these posts. I think we all believethat these type of opperations and killing, aren't hunting. The bad part is.....the "Antis" will use that footage that is now on the internet to further their agenda. They will show stuff like this to nonhunters and tell them this is hunting. The conservative group, that has that website, will probaby have things backfire on them when the antis use the footage off of their site. Even though that group supports hunting, and wants just to stop canned hunting, showing that footage makes hunting in general, look bad to those that don't hunt. Just my Opinion |

Gee, it's only what some of us have been trying to say for along time concerning the direction of 'hunting' as opposed to the real McCoy.Terms like 'horn porn' and analogies of these kinds of practices being he hunting equivalent to strip clubs and 'deer pimping' doesn't sound so outrageous now--or it shouldn't.

Windwalker7 , the ARFs can get all the ammo they need just by going to such a place and paying for one of those deer , a video of the kill was provided to each paying guest at the conclusion of business . If you don't think they'd kill a deer just to further their own twisted agenda then you're underestimating them . People like that do undercover filming at meat processing plants and similar places all the time , then they take their footage and chop it up to look the way they want before putting an idiotic spin on it . They also visit all kinds of farms and other places where animals are cultivated for human consumption in all it's various formslooking for angles to exploit . No matter how careful we are with what we type or show on this site and others the fact remains that they will exploit it just because they hate hunting . We can't prevent that , all we can hope to do is educate them on why we aren't really the beasts that they think we are .

Jimmy Houston is an A$$HOLE & so are those other D!CKHEADS!!!. Thats a shame and an embarasment to the sport. It's difficult enough for the honest hunters out there to get their point across to the general public through hours upon hours of explaining that hunting is very ethical & how the animals & their environment are very respected & cherished by all who enjoy them to havetheseunethical prix come along and set us years back by giving the anti's more ammo..I hope I don't offend too many people here by my next statement, but in my opinion, if you want to hunt high fenced, just pay someone to go out there for you, draw them a picture of what you want your deer to look like, thenhave them KILL it (I wouldn't call it hunting or harvesting) and mail it to you along with some pictures and then you can use photoshop and superimpose your face on the actual KILLERS bodiesand then you'll have some great pics to show your friends when they come over to watch Broke back mountain;)

Very disgusting to watch but informative. I could go on for a while about this, but I won't. How many others would beat the s**t out of the freakin guy who shoots the deer with blunt tipand says he got it.

On the serious side, I emailed Mr. Houston my thoughts, and plan on emailing a few of his 'major' sponsers as well. He gives the hunting, and all sportmans a bad name when a a mjor player or 'face' of the industry involves himself to hunting pets in a pen. Maybe I am naive, but I know the small pen hunts are happening, but I never thought drugging deer, propping up sick deer, etc. was part of this industry. This people are a disgrace to hunters everywhere, and should be ashamed of themselves. I'm glad this Bellar individual was prosecuted, and hopefully will be locked up a LONG time. |
