I couldnt stand jimmy already after watching him and jack brittingham shoot deer under their moultre feeders and now I realy hate him they should have their shows yanked off tv and be boycotted If I ever see him he will need a new nose and I might pull a tyson and bite of his ear too

Thats just disgusting. Its ashame that there are these richPeople that are willing to pay the money to actually "hunt" these animals. And that guy who paid $15 grand to shoot a deer that was already dying....i wouldn't be able to sleep at night if i did that. That whole video was jsut disturbing and disgusting

For those of you that have never met Jimmy in person I can tell you he’s the real ass you see here. He was here in Ohio at a Bass tournament at Indian lake several years back and was a Jackass then. It doesn’t surprise me at all to see him getting a trophy in a cowardly manner. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out he gets many of his trophy’s this way.

If you download the flash 8 and RESTART your computer it should work just fine. I had the same problem and just restarted my computer and it worked. To be honest with you I wish it wouldn't have worked. You know usually when you harvest a deer you are happy, not just because you killed something but because you worked for it. You put the time in and when it came time to shoot you usually don't feel bad for killing the deer unless it is wounded or runs off and you never find it but comeon I really felt sorry for these deer. If I had done that I would give up hunting and let all my friends kick me in the rear. I swear ther are some stupid people in this world, and proffesionals that our younger generation looks up too.

Now you guys and gals know why the state of Indiana is banning them , and why we were so embarassed when the story broke . If it were just an isolated incident confined to one facility they might have had a chance , but when our DNR sneaked a peek at the rest of them statewide every single one had multiple violations of the same types you'll see in this video . Fortunately they all have to shut down after our 2006 Legislature session ends some time in May , and hopefully they will never be allowed to reopen . If you think this can't happen where you live then think again , places like this exist everywhere that the cancer of high fenced slaughter exists . Why else would over 20 states ban them ?

And thats exactly why high fence hunting should be outlawed. Ive been a hunter for 16 years and have seen some pretty sick stuff, but that litteraly made me sick to my stomach. And people pay for these kinds of hunts and want drug tipped arrows legalized...that is the stupidest damned thing I have ever heard of. Its just sick, sick I tell ya.

This doesn't suprise me. I have talked with several different filming crews
when I ran an outfitting service. Most of them just wanted to come in for a day or two and take a 150 inch deer or better without putting any effort into it. I also heard ole Jimmy will boat around a lake and ask if anybody has any keepers in there live well and would be willing to buy them so he could finish his t.v. programs.

Jimmy wasn't the only pseudoceleb who got caught up in this , Ronny Dunn of Brooks and Dunn also had to go to court over this and turn state's evidence to avoid prosecution . Bellar's Place liked to invite higher profile types to their place so that they could tout it later , Jimmy was just the most visible one .

The guy who owns the place is currently doing two years in a federal lock up for 38 violations of the Lacey Act and will be paying over $500,000 in fines and restitution . Was it worth it Russ ? Knowing that greedy SOB he'll probably try something just as shady when he gets out . I got to meet his son , along with many of the leading deer pimps , while our public meetings were still in progress and the only thing that depressed me more than their blinding greed was the apparent apathy of the hunting community . There weren't many hunters at the meetings to oppose them , and it was only through a concerted campaign of snail and e-mails that the meetings occured at all .

Think it can't happen where you live ? Better think twice and start looking around , there may be one near you selling your hunting heritage for a few pieces of silver right now . Think Bellar's Place was an anomaly , just one place that was breaking the law and got caught ? An investigation in Indiana covering 2 years revealed that not only was Bellar's case not unique but nearly every other game farm had multiple violations . Yeah , it can happen in your back yard too , and probably already is . Anytime that level of money is involved you can bet that it is .

That is just pathetic!!! I was watching the video wondering just how many shows have I watched in the past that are fimled in similar locations..........

IMO this is the evolution of Hunting. Money is ruining our sport and I bet it is worse than we could ever imagine.

I think high fences should be illegal nationwide. The video said that it was a 1700 acre ranch, but there were several 3 acre pens that were being used. If you watch the video of the deer in the pen, you can tell that they are not used to being in a pen quite that small. Again, I wonder how many "legitiamte" high fence outfits do the same thing???

I cannot imagine any true hunter supporting this or justifying it in anyway.
