NY, I've been called everything from a cheater, a poacher, and even had my shooting ability questioned here, the last few weeks!
For the record, I'm not the one that came up with "peckerheads!" And I'm all for us sticking together!
Also, I'm a Louisiana,Cajun-blooded, Texas-born, Texan! ButI don't even mind being called a Coon-Ass!
So, I'd think "Yankee," and even, "peckerhead," would be just mild mannered fun! Hence the , symbol!
If that offends you, I'm truely sorry! I don't see you being that "thin-skinned though!

Well the poacher name calling is nonsense unless your breaking the law while your hunting and killing deer or any animal in an illegal manner and posting on here! Not good for the sport, is it??

I wondered about that too. I think it has something to do with making jerkies or otherwise preparing all that meat of hisso it does not spoil.

Come on DD..... I could pull up at least 20 posts where you make certain subtle comments for the sole purpose of getting a rise out of particular people. You attempt to make some of your posts vague and speaking in general but it's obvious you are referring to certain people on this board. Same thing as others do (ie: see Jag and his peckerhead post just north of PA.........duh!! wonder who he was referring to[:-]).Or how about "not mentioning any names but a certain bowhunter from NY............." (one of my favorites)[:-][8D]

I've made my attempt to bring some civility back to this forum and end the stupid little fued. Yeah I was out of line with some of the things I've said.I'vestepped over the line and went to farin some of the debates (as have a lot of others). But at least I'm making an attempt over the last couple of weeks to back off, stop the insults, and let by gones be by gones. Heck I've actually almost been nice with a couple of posts. It appears that aint gonnabe the casefor some people though. So be it. However if there are people that are going to sit there and make their snide smart*** commentsthey can expect the same in return.
