DD gets # 12 ...Im Smokkkkking !
 

I left this morning and got in my stand at 8.00 ... thinking that it being a full moon I might catch something moving mid morning ...about 30 minuites later there was a lot of noise coming about a half mile away where they are building a new sub-division (sigh) ..well I figured my hunt was over pretty quick ...I was getting ready to get back down at 9.00 and looked up and saw this deer with the hammer down running from the direction of the building noise ..well lets just say it never made it ... DD scores an even dozen ! ..... field dressed about 100lbs ...will make fine jerky ..that makes 3 in four days out of the same stand ... SOMEBODY's got to STOP ME ...Immmmmmm SMOKING !

Way to go DD! I love to hear a fellow hunter having a great year. It is really awesome to hear that you have 12 on the ground this year and all the meat is being used. I am truly envious. I have 3 down, but can hunt urban archery until March 15. I hope to have a few more does in the freezer. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

WOW i shot 6 this year in the bow season, but 12, DD man you need to go to that hunters anonymous."Hi my name is DoctorDeath, i have shot 12 deer this season and cant stop" LOL j/k doc, keep it up the insurance companies love you. Maybe you should tell your insurance company they may nock down your insurance a little:D
