Congrats to your dad! He looks happy and you also should be happy for him. Some people go years and years before shooting a deer let alone a buck! Be proud of him if it was the other way around I'd bet he'd be proud of you! Thats pretty cool that you got your dad into hunting! Congrats!

Ya know thats whats wrong with our sport of deer hunting today. You kids are so spoiled when I was young you were lucky to even see a deer let alone get one. And if you got one even a doe it was somthing. We have made it too easy as expressed by your statment about your dads first deer. I say congrats to your dad that is a mighty fine buck, and many a person seeing it would be happy with that deer including me. Any deer you take is a trophy and when you stop getting that feeling do me and the rest of the hunters a favor and take up bowling. Mike
