If the first shot is a screwup and I did misjudge the animals reaction for a better hit than it really is, the chances arethe second shot would be crap to.
Dont like the odds.

I tracked my first one this year over 200-300 yards of brush and trees until I found it because of a less than perfect shot , all hope has to be lost before I'd think of going for another one . I voted no .

When gun hunting we are usually doing a drive so the other guys would give me a real hard time if I let one walk, archery hunting no way.

I did not vote, but for the most part, I'd say no! I have killed a second deer before, but the first one was laying dead in front of me, before I shot the second one! The only reason that I'd be against shooting two, is a double tracking job! Tracking one can be difficult, having to track two, is risking losing game needlessly!
