I've put a Tasco 3 x 9 x 40 World Class on my Remington 700 .270 cal. in 1981 and have only adjusted it once since. It gets hunted every year and it's been through rain, hail, snow, sleet and has never given me one bit of trouble. I don't know about the new ones though. I think I would stay away from their cheaper models.

Have 2 2x7x32's World Class TASCO scopes. Bought new in 1997. One on a 243 and one on a 270....after killing a boatload of deer and NEVER touching the scope after zeroing and 8 hunting seasons later I decided i wanted a bigger scope. Put the 2x7 on a 50 cal. lm.....no trouble with either! Zeroed and forgotten!

Havea WC 3x9x40 matte finish that's about 10 years old. Was originally on a Ruger M77 25-06 fora coupleyears, now it's on a M98 8x57 sporter. No problems with it or any otherTrashco I've ever owned and I have about ahalf dozen, including a pair of theirChicom 6x18x42s and a 2.5x10x42 mildot.
My"Jap-made" 6x24x40 Mag IV has been on the same 25-06 for almost 20 years and over a thousand rounds, still repeats zero without a hitch, still clear as the proverbial bell, optically. Had a 3x12x40 Mag IV on a M760 30-06 many years ago, soldthe rifleto a friend and as far as I know, it and the rifle are still doingfine.
