It's time to bombard Gracie Mansion and City Hall in NY City!! Mayor Bloomberg (who wouldn't know a hunting handgun from a dueling pistol) has gone on record and saying that NOBODY hunts with a handgun. He's using the murders of two cops to ram home gun laws San Fran would envy. When the normally conservative NY Post ran antigun articles and editorials they were bombed with opposition on the Letters page and have run no more letters on the subject. We need tactical air and web support here!!

I forgot to add that many years ago I had a conversation with Ed Koch on WABC and he also went on a tirade claiming that all that talk of hunting with handguns was "NRA propaganda to legimitize the ownership of killing machines" and added of course that there is "no such thing as handgun hunting"!!

Why do NY residents vote for these fools?

We get choices of Tweedle Dumb or Tweedle Dumber!! The last decent mayor was Rudy Giuliani but in many ways he was also something of a RINO. In this town liberals outnumber conservatives by about 9 to 1 or more. We have 400 THOUSAND licensed hunters in this town but the local media still love to portray us as uneducated "bubbas".

As pretty much a liberal in many respects, I always am amazed at the stupidity of people who think that hunting has anything at all to the right to keep guns. It has nothing to do with hunting and everyting to do with (1) simple freedom to own the things and (2) the ability to protect oneself from people and the government. I sound like a raving ultra-rightist, but like I said, I'm pretty much liberal in many other respects. FWIW
