Default Western PA Buck

Guys,

Here is a picture of the buck I took on opening morning. It pretty much happened by chance. I had just left a spot I had been standing and walked down the hill to join another hunter in our party. As we are standing there talking, I hear a branch break and look up the hill about 75 yardsat almost the spot I was standing I see this buck He was looking at another hunter who had just walked into the woods.

I dropped him with one shot to the neck. After a while the lady walked up and asked is it a buck or doe? So I showed her and told her he was looking at her when I shot. I later found out that she told a friend that she was standing there watching this buck and some guy shot it from her. Funny thing is, I saw her in a car that drove up and down the road 3 times. I didn't realize they parked and got out until I walked down the hill to meet my friend and he told me they just walked in.

Anyway, just wanted to share. He's an 8 points with a 16 1/2 inside spread. By far my biggest buck. He rough scored around 113 and some change. Intially we thought the hole in the neck was the exit wound. Turns out the there was a 4 inch piece of arrow and a broadhead stuck in the neck.
