You will get a range from 150 to 550. It's not a simple answer. I'm paying 445 but it's top of the line work. Don't let the price be the deciding factor. Look at their work and if you can, work they have done several years ago to see how it stands up. Some taxidermist use cheap tanning methods that don't stand up well. They may look goodat firstbut after a while it will look terrible. Also learn what good taxidermy work looks like. If it looks like a mounted deer then it's not good work. It should look like a live deer. Look around and get someone that does good work and you'll be happy to have the deer on your wall for many years.

I have paid anywhere between 250 and 650 ... my Canada buck cost me 650 but I can tell you that it was well worth the money ... I have learned the hard way you get what you pay for with a taxidermist quality wise... I also learned that if you offer to pay him ALL upfront then you can get your mount back a LOT quicker in general ...

My two mounts here in Nebraska were $525-550. He has been doing it for a long time and has been known around the US for the quality work tht he does. He has even had people from New York bring their mounts to him.
