That's awesome that your kids scored! That's awesome on your part for taking them out and allowing them to enjoy the outdoors. We need more parents like you sir! I also try to take my kids out every chance I get. Granted my kids are a lot younger and only my Daughter (10) can hunt but she did enjoy her first deer this year. I can tell you this, it was THE most thrilling and exciting hunt I have EVER been on!!! Thanks for sharing the pics with us all and best of luck to all of ya in the future!

Here's my lil' girls deer

Thanks Everyone for your kind words, It was a real thrill to see my two kids where I have been many times before, even though I have shot a few big ones myself, being with my kids through this was an adventure I will never forget.
As for Dad, he hasn't hunted deer in the last 7 years, I am the main deer hunter in this family as well as turkey. We both upland and waterfowl hunt together with the kids and our dogs and I wouldn't want to out do the kids on this hunt, this is a hunt they will never forget nor will I.
Rest assured though, Dad is one Proud Papa. I'm not to sure there hasn't been a single person in the last couple of weeks that don't have to hear about the kids and their deer.
Also, Chelsa's deer was about 50lbs bigger then Eric's. When we checked them in they told Chelsa hers was 3-1/2 years old and Eric's was 2-1/2 years old, she never gave him a hard time about it at all, which around hereis something for the record books.
Congrats to your daughter as well IL-Cornfed
