Ok. I didn't post that to get snarles from anyone. I was simpling posting my opnion. If that is all the land you have then yes by all means hunt it. I am not attacking those who are proud of there monster kill. and if it were me i would have posted that monster as well. But, the fact is that i don't agree with all the praise and glory someone gets for shooting something that was hand feed. just like i don't agree with the awards given to barry bonds or mark when they hit all those home runs because they were on steriods....in response to finding NATURES food plot and a human made food plot..i believe there is a difference..i am not saying you shouldn't hunt it nor am i degrading anyone who does...just simpling saying i don't agree with the popularity those people get shooting a deer in the fridge.....and about trying harder...i hunted every weekend in both our archery season and rifle season and my efforts finally paid off on the very last day of the season...i give it my all and hunt very hard for the few deer i do kill...not saying that if you hunt over a food plot you don't hunt hard as well either...just that i don't agree with you getting all the praise for shooting this monster that had been hand feed...

when I read the title, I thought it was gonna be about squirrels
It really bugs me when Im in my stand and I hear a noise and I look around and see its a squirrel! I mean come on, how can a 1-2 lb creature make 10x's more noise than a 150 lb one???
Thats what bugs me

To me, the essence of hunting is not making it as difficult as possible for some "purity" reason. The essence is using my brains and skill to take the animal within the regulations.

So I suppose, since my family owns a small parcel of farmed land about 165 acres in total with mostly hay, corn and some decent sizedbush lotsI should feel bad about taking a quality buck because my family's property offers too much deer habitat? Or at least I should not be praised for it because of our lush property?
So I guess i'd better stop hunting thisproperty and move to public land and fight over location and "territory" with people like you?
Or maybe someone is justa little jealous?

or we could just all stop hunting deer period and let them run a muck on the hiways. Then we can all watch our car insurance sky rocket due to all the deer/vehicle collisions. I hunt meat, and believe in thinning the herd, it's best for all that way, deer and people. Sowhen I take one over my food plot, the first thing I do is thank the lord for providing for my family, and making it safer for the next person on the hiway. And I don't feel guilty doing it either.
