Sentimental deer season
#1
Well, it was a rather sentimental season for me. My dad handed down to me his Winchester 30-06 a couple of months ago, and on Saturday I had a group of 8 does come by me, and only 6 left. It may seem hopelessly romantic, but those 2 deer mean more to me than any other I have taken. I can't wait until the day I pass that rifle down to my son. Good luck out there!!

I can relate to that, My grandpa gave me his Rem bdl 300 mag this year, and said he was just too old to use it anymore, hes 94. I wanted to take it out and take a deer with, it, but cant bring myself to carry it out, it is too pretty, it is like brand new with no scratches, and is beautiful, so it hasnt been shot yet. It will be sweet to take a deer with his gun, when I can make myself take it out. Have you got to do any rifle hunting in this part of the country this year, or just bow?
