Buck Rubs?
#1
Ok, I've got kind of a stupid question. I'm still fairly new to hunting (this is my third year) and I'm trying to figure out how to look for deer sign. I know what a rub looks like, I've found several on the property I'm hunting, but here's the question. Do bucks rub trees until they shed their antlers? I've found what looks like some fresh rubs, but didn't know if it would be a good idea to set up on them. I found two rubs right next to a pond and the pond had a ton of deer tracks around it. Any tips on scouting for deer sign?
Thanks

Well even though there's a ton off tracks at the pond I seriosly doubt they will be there when it's light out(I mean the dominant buck). Hunt near your thickets, you have a climbing treestand, right? You can move it around a little until you locate him.
