I also shoot the 243. I use Winchester PSP in 80 and 100 grain. works wonders.never had a problem with that bullet.
I mostly use the 80 grain started because I would shoot varmits at 200 yards,and the wife uses the 100.
I am sighted with the 80's so I continued with them for everything.they will do a job on the rib cage also.
just my preference in ammo; no question on the cal.
