Default Opening day in Bama

Well guys Im getting ready to head to the woods ...its opening day for rifle season here in Alabama ...and its COLD ... how cold you ask? Well its soooooooo cold that this morning when I went out to crank my truck I saw a Beegle with a set of jumper trying to boost off a jackrabbit ...ahhhhhhhhh just right ;&gt)

Just got back here in the Bluff. Saw a doe at least, and another was three hundred yards away, couldn't see what it was.

I saw 4. The best I could tell they were all does. I had my cross hairs on the first one and hesitated for a sec.(YOU BIG DUMMY!!!!)and then it took a few steps and I didn't have a shot after that. A couple of weeks ago, I was bowhunting there and saw 4 bucks. Good huntin, Scott Woody

yea DD it was real cold and windy,my youngest son decided to stay and go christmas shopping,my twelve year old woke me up ready to go,heard several shots, didn't see anything but it was great being out there.

Yep, upper 20's in Cherokee County this morning. I believe there was 6 killed this morning on our club. I of course didn't see anything. Shortly after it started to get daylight, it sounded like WW III. Several Bobcats as well as coyotes were taken also !!! Maybe I'll get something on Monday morning... Hope the weather is as nice as it was this morning.
