Default RE: passed on a 10pt opening morning

Sorry to be so nosey, but just wondering where your lease is at? You live just up the street from me in Georgetown and wondered where your hunting. I personally have a lease in Lampasas county, just a little north of Lampasas itself, and I was able to take a nice 9 point opening day. It sure was hot here, that cold weather last week had me fooled! But I think you did the right thing, on our lease we can only take bucks 8 points or larger, and saw a couple of 8's saturday morning that Im glad I passed on to be able to take the 9. Thats what hunting is all about, dont shoot everything that walks out, but decide on the deer you want and go after it, good luck in the season, Im done now [:@]
