How to hunt this area?
I just recently discovered that their is public bow only land at Lake Whitney in Texas. Since i have no time to scout it before i get to hunt it, how would you hunt deer around a lake? any tips?

Use this website to find the hunt area. It will give you a satellite photograph that you can zoom in on a specific area. Look for natural funnels and other areas that would be a good stand location. If you do your homework from your computer it will help you tremendously in the field. Good luck!

But seroiusly...use that computer program with the aerial photos, I've used that in the past and it really makes a huge difference!
