Wat do u think about a Br. Abolt 270 w/ BOSS
Im still in high school finishin up and im thinkin about askin for a Browning A-Bolt Medallion with the BOSS system in a .270 caliber. If anybody shoots this gun, do u have any problems with it, or do u recommend it for a new gun? Im also thinkin about puttin a Nikon Gold UCC Adjustable Optic scope on it so if anyone shoots with one of those ur comments would help me out alot.

I would avoid the boss for several reasons
1-they are extremely loud-one shot will likelycause your ears to ring
2-they come loose which changes the point of impact
3-boss equipped guns produce less velocity due to shorter barrels
4-non boss equipped guns can be just as accurate with proper loads

Thanks man i appreciate it. The only question i have is wat kind of load should i go with to get that same accuracy? The reason i ask is cuz i have a BOSS equipped 30-06 and its deadly, but i always shoot ballistic tip Hornadys.

The only way to find out which load will shoot best in your gun is to try a few loadsand see.Even my boss equipped rifle shot much better with some loads than with others reguardless of how it was adjusted.I found that it took nearlyas many loads to optomize the boss setting as it usually takes me to come up with a decent load.

Very good advice! I have an A-Bolt in .338with the Boss and it can make your earsring for along time without ear plugs. I found that out in Colorado shooting between boulders. It makes it even louder!
