buck down in ga!!!!!!

Nice buck, any idea what was going on with the gun? I had a similiar problem with my K-98 Mauser (target shooting not hunting though). In my case, it turns out that the primers on the casings were sunk in just slightly and the firing pin only hit half of the time.

Thanx for the kind words guys. It sure was a fun day..... The deal on the gun was my fault I found out. I was being to gentle with bolt. When I loaded a shell in the woods when I first got there I was trying to be quiet so I didnt let it slide up on its on" its an automatic" I kinda held it. then when I reloaded after the first misfire that happened I was even more gentle trying to be very quiet! lol then on the third one i guess I just got it forward more and got lucky

Congrats on the beautiful buck!! My dad lives south of atlanta and hasn't been able to hunt for sometime. I'm sure once he sees your pictures that will change. Thanks for sharing.
