Default Vanilla Extract

Some old timer told me to go to the dollar general and get vanilla extract, and mix it in with my corn. So far I've had good results. Do any of you do this, and what else will you mix in your corn?

Good results in what sense? Are you attracting deer into the corn during hunting hours or just at night? Are they eating some of it or all of it?

I have the same question? Does it lure the deer to the corn pile? or does it make the corn taste better? What are you talking about when you say results?

There use to be an attractant called Vanilla Killa....think Fitzegerald sold it? I never used it, but a lot of people used it......if it works, it works. The deer will still probably come without it though.

I use it as a "curiosity" scent only. Deer will come to investigate. It will work when used in that context.Use PURE Vanilla.

I've used it as a curiosity scent before also. Deer will come to investigate the smell. Never poured it on corn though.

I like oil of anise as a curiosity scent. Smells like liquoice. Lots of commercial scents use it as a base.
