Default Deer Stands

Guess what everyone. My dad and I went down to our place and looked at the condition of all of our stands. We realized that we have to re-build at least 3 stands due to them rotting. And between now and opening weekend of gun season, we only have one weekend open to fix them! We are going to have to work our tails off! Anyway, I hope we can get most of the done.

As your stands deteriorate replace them with metal stands. Lighter, easier to move and safer.

I recommend that you check out your stands in the spring (after the winter melt) and then again at least a couple months prior to when you plan on hunting out of them. This will ensure you have ample time to make repairs. This would also allow you to do some shed hunting in the spring and throw in some scouting.

ALWAYS CALL YOUR SHOT.
