Monster Iowa bucks..and a Deere

RE: Monster Iowa bucks..and a Deere
No, I know the stopping power of slugs..I was talking about the 'dozer. I've seen the stopping power of a 12 gauge slug. Even when the hit is marginal, the chance of that deer making it a distance is slim to none. They tend to make large and violent wound channels, not really leaving a chance for the deer to live.
The thing about these deer is that they're not all mature, and I know there's even bigger bucks in the area, as well as alot more of their size. It gets beter every year because we're letting more and bigger bucks walk and we provide them with great nutrition.
