Throw another vote in for Summit. I have a Revolution but would recommend a Viper as it tends to be the most versatile for the different types of hunting. Great stands and superb customer service. I cannot see me using any other.

Summit Viper, but if you can find a Buckshot to try out they are good climbers and are a little cheaper..

Summit. Have had mine for 5+ years now and I don't know how I survived the previous 10 without a Summit. I use my Summit from September thru to February here in NJ and I basically hunt at least once per week in hto weather, rain, snow, cold, etc. It has been used all too much and it still functions like it did on Day 1...except for a few dings and scratches, but that adds character to it. SUMMIT

Summit. Been using my Python for 4 years now without a problem. They are more expensive than the competitor's stands but I feel they are worth it. I'm might be getting the Razor X5 later this year.

My vote is Summit

BUT...let me throw a word of caution.

It is so damn comfortable (the tree lounge) that I have fallen asleep in a pine tree on a lightly windy day.
Damn fine stand though.

The Summit I have came with hard plastic stirrups. Getting it up the tree is very easy. I weigh a whole lot and was worried about the cables. Don't worry ...the cables are fine. The only fault I have with it , it is a little bit of a hastle to put together to back pack. With practice I'm doing better. It comes with a safety harness. I would never use a climber without one.
