Even though CWD hasn't been detected in Michigan yet, I'm going to be careful not to come in to contact with the spinal cord or the brain during the field dressing process. Hopefully, my shot will be in right area and I won't have to worry about it. Other than that, I don't plan on doing anything different.

It would be better to ask what special CWD precautions people have been taking in Colorado for the past 30 years.
If you follow the WDNR's recommendations, Wisconsins deer are safest deer to consume in the entire world!!
