I do whenever i can, since i have school i can only do it on the weekend unless except the days i skip. I go after school everyday when i have it, so i spend as much time in the woods as possible. I have killed 9 deer and only 3 have been in the morning. My dad was always serious about hunting so ive been going all day since i was about twelve or so. Know i go more then him. I enjoy being out there, but ive seen so many deer at different times of the day. Go all day and you will see more deer. I dont know why anyone would not on a day like the first day of shotgun, deer are getting scared from all over by other hunters.

During the start of the rut i always spend 3-4 days dark to dark in the woods. As long as dressed right for the weather and have a good stand/blind. Comfort is key

I do this a lot. I have many very nice bucks and elk to show for it.Even if I hunt off the ground I do a lot of all dayers.I will just lay down right where I am hunting and mid day nap.I will allso do the same in the tree stand.

I do it alot and yes it is sometimes is very hard mentally to stay. Phyiscally I sit in a comfy chair and cant walk normally anyway. My body only has enough phyisical stamina to make it to my stand one time MAYBE.and that is around 50 yards. So it is good to just sit there. It does payoff.Even if you dont get a shot you learn so much about the deers movement and the area and other hunters movements.Where else would you want to spend the day????? I would like to die in a chair in the field
