Default Acorns sprouting?????

On my way out to the stand tonight, I was looking at the acorns on the ground and looked up to see acorns on the tree yet that have already sprouted!<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle> I picked one and put it in my pocket to look at later and found anotherone on a diffrent tree. While picking this one I noticed several more that have sprouted. What gives? I have never seen or herd of this before. Anyone have any insight on this?

By the way all I seen on the stand was 3 little bucks.

I believe that it's due to the moisture stress that the trees have had this summer. In some places you may see the buds start opening and next years blossoms blooming.
