Guys this past weekend we had our youth hunt here in MI and if you remember I asked how about to best set up on some bucks we had been seeing the were moving to and from a cornfield across a beanfield and feeding in the clover. We'll we ended up spending most of our time in and around this area Sat and Sun trying different setup and we managed to get my son Joshua his first buck right on the clover field saturday night and my oldest his largest buck on Sunday night setting right in the corn 3 rows into the field. Here are some pics. Thought you might enjoy them. Man! what a weekend. Ill never forget that evening.

Joshua was using a NEF Ultra Slug 20 ga. and Hornady SSTs. He made a perfect 120 yard shot. Seth was using a Beretta Pin Tail 12 ga. w/ rifled slug barrel. Also using Hornady SSTs. Buck was shot at 140 yards. Im really proud of both of these boys.

Wow, Jay that is awsome, I sure wish my dad would have taken me hunting. Congats to to your boys, I can't imagine how happy they must be....Good luck toand Arronwe only have five more days.

On another note I bought my son who is now 2 1/2 a toy bow and he's slinging arrows acrossed our yard. I am definitly starting him out young. Happy hunt'n.

yea, it was awesome to go and glass with jay and his bro the week before and see both of these bucks. Tell your kids congrats and good luck on getting the bigger boys that we had seen on that property..
