Hoping you might be able to help. I've only been able to get permission to Turkey hunt on one place this year and they have so many horses there the turkeys tend to keep away. Do any of you know of any landowners in the Sheridan/Johnson County area that allow turkey hunting. I won't pay a trespass fee, but I sure don't mind doing chores like helping with branding, fence mending, or putting up hay.

elk buster, how long u lived in sheridan? i do not know of any land owners, but i know that johnson county has the most state land of any county in wyoming. u should find state land on rock creek, and on shell creek. when i lived in buffalo that is where i hunted turkeys! best of luck to you!
