It was anounced yesterday that Cabela's is opening a store in Reno Nevada. For those of you in northern Ca. you can now come to Reno and gamble and buy your hunting and fishing gear.

This was allso said about one in montana. Where or how did you find this was a done deal?

It was on the news. The city of Reno signed a contract with Cabela's.

We are going to have one here in CO sometime in 2006. Should be cool!

Sweet. I know Ill be making a Gambling/Cabelas stop when its done. Thats not to far from Washington.

As a Northern Californian living in the Sacramento area, a Cabelas in Reno is great news. Is there any date yet as to when it might be opening?

Well they are certainly getting closer to the NW. Hopefully they will put one in ID or WA someday soon!!!

I like Reno much better than vegas. Better scenery, weather, cleaner.....

You might also like the Reno Hilton gunshow. Three days on a weekend; usually in November, March and August.

RMEF likes to hold their annual meeting in Reno===seems like every other year.

I heard the great news yesterday. Sounds like about 2 years away. Rumor has it the store will be west of Reno around Boom Town.
