WHERES ALL THE DOVE!!!!!

RE: WHERES ALL THE DOVE!!!!!
I saw a few around opening day, and then a cold front moved in and the birds were gone. I have only seen one group since the 3rd or so of September. I think they rely heavily on the weather when it comes to migration. What has the weather been like in your area?

Dunno about ya'all, but we had 5 hunters limit out every day for the first 5 days of the season. Of course, this was in Yuma County, AZ, where you could probably limit out if the limit was *50* birds.

Hey Wolf, you might wanna look up in the northern end of 19B (between Ash Fork and Seligman is usually a good area) and southern end of 10 for the dove this time of year. I don't know when season ends, but that's mostly where I've seen them from about the middle of Sept. until it starts getting cooler. After that, start looking down south of Prescott, more around Congress and the base of Yarnell Hill. I know the last time I was down there (almost three years ago) we were covered up in dove. Good luck to ya, and hope that helps at least a little.
