Idaho Elk Hunting Regs (Muzzle Loader)
#1
I was just browsing the Idaho regs, and I was hoping someone can verify this, without me needing to make the long distance phone call.
CANNOT be inline?
Must use patch & ball, NO Sabots, conicles, or PowerBelts?
CANNOT use pellets, must be loose powder?
Please let me know

Idaho has two different sets of muzzleloader regs.
As mentioned above there is the traditional regs for certain hunts.
There is another set of regs for the more modern muzzleloaders.
There are some restrictions there also however so you will want to familiarize yourself.

What is the success ration during the open season muzzle loader hunts in units 29, 37, 37 A and 51? from what I can tell from last year, the average is 8 to 12 %.
Have any of you hnted any of the Salmon or Lemhi units?
