Default Fewer Fawns, Poults and Grouse?

It seems that I'm not seeing near as many fawns or turkey poults or young grouse as usual. Anyone else (Wayne or others) noticing the same or not?

Wayne, sounds like you need Bldhound the Yote Slayer to come for a visit.

Well, I have seen fewer fawns this year for sure, but I haven't gotten out to where I grouse hunt yet. The pheasant numbers are way low though.[:@]

Does seem that the fawn numbers around here are down a bit, but I'm just now getting into areas that I have a better chance of seeing them. Now as for the grouse I've been seeing lots of them, esp. the blues. Saw one chukar hen that had 16 little ones with her on Thurs.

We haven't seen near as many poults as we usually do, only a couple fawns too now that you mention it. We've got loads of baby grouse and quail though.

Theres a predator control outfit in Pennsylvania I forget their name but I've heard of folks hiring them from all over. I guess they are pretty good they shoot yotes from a 1000 yards with a 50 bmg from that distance no yote could see it coming LOL
