Going to apply for antelope doe/fawn as well as any antelope tags in these areas, and was wondering how the overall herd health is. Are the animals healthy, as far as size? Not worried about trophy animals, and not a real big concern, just wondering if anybody from this area is seeing a lot of antelope, and how they seem to be doing. My family used to hunt this area heavily in the 80's, and there were lots of animals, and they were all pretty healthy. We moved to NV, and haven't been back since. Just want an update. Any replies would be great!

CB, I havent been in either one of those areas other than driving through on the highway for a couple of years. But the whole area has been drouthed out for a couple of years. Darn little feed has grown in that time and the G&F is kinda worried. If we get enough snow to make stuff grow next spring, itg gonna winterkill a lot of antelope. Its hard to tell whats going to happen. So far we have had very little snow...Wyo Game&Fish is pretty good about answering E-Mails. Good luck and let me know if I can be of any help.
