Default Bowhunting Idaho Video

What do you want to see in a good hunting video? I have begun a DVD to be released in local stores and sold on the internet this Spring that is specifically about Bowhunting and mostly unique to Idaho. I've never seen anything like this before, so I'm looking for YOUR input. WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE? Personally, I hate watching hunting shows that are "Farmer Bob's hunting show." There are NO tips and it's just some guy with a southern accent shooting animals. That's not what this is going to be. TIPS, strategies, internet resources, info about bowshops, etc. What do you want to see in a good hunting video?

I'd like to see some really contrarian approaches to hunting, that back it up with good logic. You'll see these videos titled something like "Unusual strategies for Huntin'", then find out they are simply plugging the latest invented calls and scents.

I just think that videos and magazines are so slave to selling the latest gadgets, that it taints the whole industry. I'd like to see a video about all the products that don't work. Name names.

Jim, I think the best videos are the ones that relate to the average hunter. Most of us hunt public land that gets a fair amount of pressure. It would be great to see some techniques that we can use to locate and close the deal on public land hunts. It would also be nice to see blown set-ups too. I think we learn as much, if not more, from mistakes than successes on videos. I agree that most videos are way too commercialized. We just want to see real hunts, good and bad, and get some good information that is applicable to most of us. Keep us posted. And there's nothing wrong with a Southern accent. I worked for 27 years after being born in Central MS to get the dialect correct. I guess I'm getting some culture now that I live in western WA.
