Default Thanksgiving Day Buck

I wish I could draw a Washington late mule deer tag every year. It made for a memorable Thanksgiving. It was just too hard to pass up on opening morning. I even made it home in time for Turkey.

Nice buck, how wide is it, i know one guy who got a 23" 4pt turkeyday also. My brother in law is out with his friend who has a tag on the firing center also, he missed a 24" 3x4 on turkey day, they were heading back out today to find another one. How many deer did you see, did you see any other dead ones in the back of trucks.

I just saw that buck and 9 does opening morning but I shot that one an hour and 5 minutes into the season. the last two full days of scouting I saw 49 does and 8 bucks one day and 28 does and 11 bucks the other. I went out the day before season for a couple hours in the morning and saw a few does, this buck and another about the same size (24" ). I talked to a couple other guys with a nice 4x4 about 26" and they had seen two other deer taken a small 4x4 and a 2x2. There wasn' t as much shooting opening day as I expected, everyone must be holding out for the big one.
