Default hunting in central ca. d7-d5

hello again i was hoping for some advise on these deer zones,
so where else is a decent place to checkout? example goat mt, squaw leap, shuteye mountain,s, etc...
i live in d-7, but wouldn't mind traveling a few hrs.

p.s. a big fire came through on the west'ish side little shuteye this summer, and before that less than a yr ago through mammoth lake territory, i think...

I hunt D6 and D5. Also have hunted G37 and might do X12 this year.

I've never been in D7 tho...

I shot a few blacktails in D-5 when I was stationed there. But I did most of my deer hunting north of Napa in the Cache Creek area. Lots of deer there but you have to work for them.
