Default Looking for new options in CO - recommended outfitters?

Group of four. maybe five of us, looking for new CO elk opportunities in 2014. All good, safe, trustworthy, ethical hunters. A couple guys looking for cow elk, a couple either cow or bull. Private land, guided/ semi guided preferred but open to explore all options.

Please reply or PM me with any offerings we should be checking out!!

Check out Elkhorn Outfitters by Craig, CO. He controls the hunting on around 100,000 acres and a lot of times he has bonus cow tags. So you can have a bull tag and a cow tag as well. Some of the ranches he hunts are enrolled in the Ranching for Wildlife program. I've hunted some of these ranches with the resident Ranching for Wildlife tag. I haven't actually hunted with Elkhorn since I'm a CO resident and hunt on my own, but have interacted with them. Seems like a really good outfit and their reputation is good too.

Default Outfitters

I can vouch for ElkHorn on a RFW hunt...Dick is a GREAT guy. I can also vouch for Crazy Horse Outfitters in Pagosa Springs.

May want to look at J Bar H outfitters. Owned by Jeanne Horn. have hunted with them 5 times we are booked for 2014. Great staff, equipment and camps. We have always seen and killed a bunch of elk in our times there. FYI we just do drop camps. Have always hunted the same camp which is about a 5 hour horse back ride. You can take to the bank on what Jeanne tells you.
