New hunter of this unit this year. Dad and I are looking to find good access and ease as dad is disabled. He can walk a little but tires fast. I was wondering if we could get into some good elk driving far in and sitting on a clear cut? Any help would be awesome and thank you in advance.

I have hunted that area many times and cant remember any easy access areas thats all MTN terrain. Best I can say is find a gated road and hit it that would be your best bet maybe somewhere close to Georges peak.

If he is that disabled why didn't you get an access key and a disability plackard for hunting there?

he has a disabled placard but I didn't know about a key. Is that through the forest service? or private timber company? Thank you for the tips!
