I wanna know about Shooter and the grouse ! ! ! ! !

Also, did I tell ya that both Nami and I got drawn for Fall Turkey, and Nami got drawn for a doe as well.

Spring Turkeys are more fun, but Fall turkeys are much more tasty

Hey Doc....The first one I shot as it flew from a tree....was still beating it' s wing' s when Shooter first got to it.....kinda scared him....lol....plus that was his first close up of a Ruff....the 2nd one was on my left...fixin to fly...and Shooter was about 20 yard' s in front on my right....so I shot it...send shooter in to feach it...he picked it up by one wing.....held it about 10 yard' s and dropped it....so....I made him heal.....then I FF the grouse in his mouth....after my comand to " give" ....I then put him at heel....tossed the grouse about 30 yard' s....marked him....then gave the " back" comand.....he did good...brought it back to hand and held till I gave him.." give" ....I repeated this about 4 time' s....and he seemed excited to retrive it.....then we had the run in with the bear....and headed to the house. What should I have done different ??....ya know how I can screw up a dreamer' s dream.......should I start looking for a GSP..???.....lol
